3 Question Interview #8

With the True Believers Summer Variant Edition fast approaching, we continue our smaller version (it's a smaller event after all) of our regular 5 Question Interview series by putting 3 Questions to The Inheretic team...

What will people find at your table at the event?

We have our 128 page. full colour graphic novel “The Inheretic” a Sci-fi thriller, the story of an alien at the end of a 2000 year mission to chronicle mans behaviour on earth, who is slowly breaking down, resulting in all sorts of carnage and confusion.
We also have our Steampunk fantasy “Lollipop & Ten” Again a complete story, this time about a beautiful teenage busker who is befriended by a strange child, serenity and gore all wrapped up in 32 pages. We love it as do our readers. it has a free pullout double sided print as an added bonus. We happened to find a few character development sketches from our comics whilst clearing out the studio, so we’ll bring them along as well. So please drop by Table 11 and say hello.

What is your favourite part of being behind a table at a comic-con?

Mainly the laugh we have with the people that come and chat, be it fellow creators, cosplayers, comic fans and bemused parents who are dragged along by their kids (or vice versa). It’s interesting to see the varying reactions you get to your work, comic con folk are a mixed bunch, not all are comic readers some are there to parade their costumes, some just happy to wander about buying the latest plastic thingumajig of their favourite character, but nearly everyone is there to have a good time, so it’s a nice thing to be doing with your day.

What can you tell us about what you're working on next and when can we expect to get it?

Well having just completed our contribution to the TBCF2018 charity comic anthology and having enjoyed it so much, we like the idea of doing an entire comic of short stories, We have an endless list of ideas for full length comics, all different from the last and, to us, all equally exciting. Our biggest obstacle is limited drawing time, so condensing these ideas to 4, 6 or 8 pages and doing each in a different illustrative style really does appeal. When will it be finished?….mmmm deadlines can give you an ulcer, so we’ll dodge that….when we’re happy with it, i suppose is the stress free answer.

You can find The Inheretic at the True Believers Summer Variant Edition and on their website
