For this years True Believers, we'll be setting up a dedicated workshop zone on the balcony of the centaur, offering two workshops and some drop in (or takeaway) activities too.

Add 1 sheet of A4 paper, some pens and a dollop of creativity into a blender and mix for an an hour and a half and what you do get? A pulpy, inky mess!

Swap the blender part for help from comic artist Sarah Millman, and you’ll end up with a short six page comic or zine.

Join Sarah as she talks you through the basics you need to create your own mini-comic/zine in just an hour or two.

You can then either stay and soak up the creativity on the day to create your mini-comic, or take everything you've learned home at the end of the day and get creating in your own time.

This workshop is open to all ages and there is no drawing or writing experience necessary to take part.  Along with everything you need to create your comic, Sarah will also have some plot ideas to get you started (if you require any).

Superhero Life Drawing returns to True Believers Comic Festival for another session of sketching fun!

For those who haven't been before, this workshop is a short drawing session, which will see Limegreenjelly Cosplay model (character to be announced) for the group to draw.

The session lasts for around 30 minutes and is open to all ages and artistic abilities.  We'll provide you with paper and pencils (although if you prefer to use your own or a tablet, feel free to bring those along) and a fun half hour of drawing.

We will also have a Build Your Own Superhero worksheet that can be picked up from the workshop zone, which you can either create on the day or takeaway with you to do at home.  Not only that, buy we'll have a Draw Something Sunday (we Saturday) table, that people can add to during the day, creating a TBCF2018 DSS Jam Piece.

All of our workshops are free to join and are open to all ages and artistic abilities, so why not take advantage and try something a little different?
